Laakirchen Papier commits further to sustainable publication paper production

In the middle of this year, Laakirchen Papier AG invested around EUR 4 million in the process optimisation of its paper machine 11 (PM 11) for the manufacture of eco-friendly publication papers. This measure represents both a commitment on the part of the Upper Austrian mill to continue to produce graphic papers for the printing industry and a clear indication of its role as a highly responsible and environment-conscious industrial enterprise. 

ANDRITZ receives a major order for an extensive rebuild from Stora Enso in Finland

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Stora Enso to supply production technologies and key process equipment for rebuild of the fiberline and drying machine as well as for modernization of the stock preparation system at its Oulu Mill, Finland. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020.

ANDRITZ to supply a PrimeLineECO tissue machine with two stock preparation lines to Xuan Mai Paper in Vietnam

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Xuan Mai Paper Co. Ltd. to supply a PrimeLineECO tissue machine for its mill in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for the production of high-quality tissue grades made of either 100% virgin or 100% deinked pulp (DIP). Start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.

Valmet to deliver fifth tissue production line to Papel San Francisco in Mexico

Valmet will supply an Advantage DCT 100TS tissue production machine to Papel San Francisco in Mexico. The new machine will be installed at the company's mill in Mexicali and the start-up is planned for the third quarter of 2020.

The order is included in Valmet's first quarter 2019 orders received. The value of the order is not disclosed.
