Metsä Board, the leading European producer of premium fresh fibre paperboards, will be presenting its lightweight paperboards and innovative sustainable packaging solutions for packaging applications at FachPack 2019.
Metsä Board will highlight its enhanced folding boxboard portfolio released in April of this year. The new and improved FBB portfolio contains five premium boards with carefully considered features, for example, the improved high-yield pulp plays an important role in lightweighting the boards.

Johan Nellbeck has been appointed new Senior Vice President Paperboard at Holmen and will take up his post no later than the first of November.
Johan Nellbeck was most recently Senior Vice President and business area manager for Packaging Paper at BillerudKorsnäs, where he has worked since 2006.

Stora Enso introduces Cupforma Natura Solo™, a renewable paperboard for paper cups. The innovative material is suitable for hot and cold drinking cups, as well as for ice cream packaging. CCE International 2019 indicates future trends to corrugated and folding carton industry
From 12 – 14 March 2019 the corrugated and folding carton industry will gather for the 4th edition of CCE International at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany. This year’s greeting card from Iggesund Paperboard is designed by the Taiwanese designer Kevin Chen, who specialises in embossing and foil stamping. The concept behind the card ranges from the Scandinavian forests, symbolised by the moose, which is the king of the forest, to a globe representing the world-wide availability of Iggesund Paperboard’s flagship product, Invercote.
