International technology group ANDRITZ will be exhibiting its broad range of proven and also new technologies, services, and automation solutions for the water, wastewater, waste management, and raw materials industries at the IFAT 2020 show in Munich, Germany, from May 4–8, 2020, booth 439 in hall A1 and booth 151/250 in hall B6.

Pasaban at Drupa 2020

Once more, Pasaban will be present at Drupa 2020, the international printing technology trade fair to be held from 16 to 26 June in Düsseldorf. Held every four years, the fair receives 260,000 visitors from 183 countries, mainly from the printing and packaging industries.

Through an optimized surface enhancement UpElement improves dewatering properties during startup. As a result, manufacturers benefit from a higher production yield over the run of one felt cycle.

ANDRITZ to supply a further high-efficiency PowerFluid circulating fluidized bed boiler for a biomass power plant in Japan

International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Toyo Engineering Corporation, Japan, to deliver a PowerFluid circulating fluidized bed boiler with a flue gas cleaning system.

The boiler will be part of a new biomass power plant to be built in Gamagori in Aichi Prefecture, Honshu Island, some 300 km southwest of Tokyo, Japan. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin in 2023.

ANDRITZ to supply complete pulp mill to UPM in Uruguay

International technology group ANDRITZ was selected by UPM, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, to supply energy-efficient and environmentally leading equipment and processes for all main process islands in fiber production and chemical recovery for their new pulp mill to be built near Paso de los Toros in central Uruguay.

This world-class eucalyptus pulp mill will have an annual production capacity of 2.1 million tonnes and is scheduled for start-up in the second half of 2022.
