As a manufacturer of premium self-adhesive labels for wines and spirits, Etigraph Italia S.r.l. requires a quality assurance system that meets the highest standards. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Chions in north-east Italy, Etigraph has over the years grown into a company with approximately 70 employees. In the late 1990s, it was time to start up its first web monitoring system from BST eltromat. Today, every one of its 15 printing machines and 8 slitting machines is equipped with quality assurance systems from BST eltromat.

ANDRITZ to supply flue gas treatment systems for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) in Singapore

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Keppel Seghers to supply flue gas treatment systems for the IWMF Phase 1 WTE (Waste-to-Energy) facilities in Singapore.

IWMF and the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant (Tuas WRP) – collectively known as the Tuas Nexus – will be the world’s first integrated waste and water treatment facility to be conceptualised and planned from the ground up. IWMF Phase 1 and the TWRP are scheduled for completion in 2025. Once completed, IWMF Phase 1 will be able to treat:

ANDRITZ to supply innovative logyard cranes to Metsä Fibre

International technology group ANDRITZ and Metsä Fibre, part of the Metsä Group, have signed a preliminary agreement under which ANDRITZ will supply two fully autonomous logyard cranes to the planned Metsä Fibre bioproduct mill in Kemi, Finland.

Metsä Fibre will make the EUR 1.5 billion investment decision for the new mill in autumn 2020 at the earliest, and the new mill will take approximately two and a half years to build.

Valmet to supply Metsä Board’s Kemi mill with Industrial Internet solutions to enhance end-product quality and the mill’s productivity

Valmet and Metsä Board have signed an agreement on data-driven optimization of paperboard quality of the board machine at Metsä Board’s Kemi mill. The machine produces premium quality white top kraftliner. Valmet will supply the mill with Valmet Industrial Internet VII Data Discovery and VII for Paper Quality solutions.  

The order was included in Valmet’s orders received of the second quarter 2020. The value of the order is not disclosed.

Toscotec-supplied hoods achieve top performance at WEPA Mainz

Toscotec successfully completed a hood rebuild on PM 1 at WEPA Mainz in Germany. After a tight shutdown timeframe, PM 1 started up on schedule last year. Following a period of stable running conditions, it successfully completed the performance test, and outperformed the technical guarantees of the rebuild by having excellent results for drying capacity and gas consumption.
