Dr. Lutz Kühne, 49, has taken over the newly created function of Head of Research, Development, Innovation and Sustainability at LEIPA Group GmbH with effect from 1 May. He reports directly to the CEO, Peter Probst.
The graduate in woodworking has more than 15 years of experience in the field of product development and optimization. In his last position as Head of Technology and Innovation at Kabel Premium Pulp & Paper GmbH, he was responsible for technology and product development.
In his new function, Dr. Kühne will drive the further development of existing as well as new products in order to expand LEIPA's product portfolio in current, as well as new markets in a customer-oriented manner.
"I look forward to working closely with the R&D departments within the LEIPA Group and to actively supporting the market development of new products and services in cooperation with LEIPA's technical customer service. In particular I am also looking forward to supporting LEIPA customers in the successful implementation of their own sustainability approaches", says Dr. Kühne.
